Job Description: Rubix Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience practicing as an Adult Neurology Nurse Practitioner/PA and possess the expertise to independently diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Psychiatrists and Mental Health Therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Independently perform new patient consultations and assessments, including reviewing medical history, conducting physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as pharmacological EEG, EEG, SSEP, VEP, VAT-ENG, and sleep studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnostic findings, incorporating both traditional medical interventions and holistic treatment options.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to review diagnostic test results, monitor treatment progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and improving quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan, with certification as Adult Neurology.
• Minimum of two years' experience practicing in Adult Neurology, with proficiency in diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological conditions.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to interpret complex diagnostic test results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $85.00 per hour
