Job Description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager for a company dedicated to developing new products for the ophthalmic market. This is a hybrid opportunity. For immediate consideration, apply today.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing the overarching organic social strategy across all of Citi Bike’s social platforms to increase brand awareness, and drive engagement and revenue opportunities.
• Ownership of social media platforms in their entirety, such as planning growth strategies, content, posting cadence, copywriting, as well as reporting and analytics.
• Contribute innovative ideas, and best practices, and offer reactive solutions for social media marketing, as well as provide in-depth reporting, insights, and competitor analysis to inform the creative process and make recommendations based on data
• Assist in creating channel growth strategies that will deliver against key KPIs for awareness, revenue, engagement, and follower growth.
• This includes managing social partnerships tactical giveaways and creative ideas that tap into social trends
• Assist in copywriting and own specific copywriting tasks for the social team that is on brand and encompasses the Citi Bike tone of voice
• Conduct social listening and competitor analysis reports on a regular basis for always on initiatives as well as provide in-depth reporting for campaigns
• Attend events on behalf of Citi Bike to capture content and represent the brand

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred, or 1-3 years of work experience. 
• Hybrid role in New York City with 10% travel to community events and capture content within the City Deep understanding of the social media landscape, trends, and platforms.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Proficiency in all social media platforms as well as business programs such as Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Adobe, Airtable, and Canva. 
• In addition Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma. 
• Awareness of pop culture, cultural moments, and social media trends.
• The ability to act fast and in real-time Creative thinker + problem solver.
• A hands-on self-starter with strong organizational skills who is comfortable with fast turnarounds and tight timelines.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team and excitement or curiosity for cycling, bikeshare, urban planning, and/or micromobility. 
• Occasional overtime and weekend hours as needed.
