About the role As a Senior Growth Engineer within the Engineering organization, you'll work at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth. You'll build and optimize experiences that help new users onboard seamlessly, drive product adoption, and improve our ability to convert free users to paying customers. You’ll experiment rapidly, analyze user behavior, and implement changes that scale Semgrep’s growth engine. You will: Develop and scale growth experiments across the funnel—acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization—using a mix of product, engineering, and data science techniques. Build and optimize user experiences that drive self-serve adoption and expand usage within teams. Leverage data and analytics to measure user behavior, uncover insights, and identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to lead PLG and SLG motions. Automate and enhance workflows for customer acquisition, lead qualification, and sales enablement. Contribute to technical growth initiatives, such as in-app experiments, onboarding flows, and usage-based monetization models. Own and improve growth infrastructure, including experimentation platforms, tracking systems, and data pipelines. You are ideal for this role if you have: Enthusiasm and experience with experimentation-driven approach to problem-solving 4+ years of experience writing production software and building web applications.
