Sr. Payroll Specialist, Wilmington, DE (Onsite), $70,000–$75,000 – PERMANENT

Sr. Payroll Specialist – Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for union and non-union hourly and salaried employees across multiple U.S. locations.
• Manage payroll entries, remittances, garnishments, and incentive/bonus payments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll policies, tax regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Maintain employee data and generate management reports using Workday and Kronos.
• Partner with HR and Finance to improve payroll processes and documentation.
• Support year-end balancing, tax filings, and reporting activities.

Sr. Payroll Specialist – Requirements

• 4+ years of payroll experience in a complex, multi-location environment.
• Experience with Workday Payroll and Kronos is strongly preferred.
• ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of federal/state payroll laws and benefit administration.
• Familiarity with union payroll processes and collective bargaining agreements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• CPP certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Schedule:

Full-time, onsite position (no remote option).
