About the Role The Senior Conflicts Analyst II applies advanced knowledge of conflicts principles to clearance checks with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills are key, as the role involves gathering and clarifying sensitive legal and business information from professionals at all levels. The Analyst must adapt quickly, manage high-volume matters under pressure, and maintain confidentiality. The role includes rotating after-hours and weekend support due to 24/7 global operations. They must be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to guide junior analysts. Familiarity with legal terminology, corporate structures, public filings, and engagement terms is also essential. What You’ll Do The Senior Analyst is responsible for: Reviewing new business opportunities for the company, on an expedited basis, to ensure a timely response to company professionals and their clients, to determine if a new engagement can be accepted Handling clearances for a defined portfolio (e.g. EMEA, Americas, etc.) as well as clearances outside of assigned queue segment where necessary to manage volume and urgent requests Conducting a timely and accurate review of potential conflict concerns and related new business issues (including legal, relationship and reputational risks); verifying completeness and accuracy of new engagement descriptions Applying an analytical approach to identify and spot new issues and concerns, and escalating those matters to the leadership of the Conflicts team and company professionals where appropriate Applying company conflict policies and procedures as guiding principles in evaluating, tracking and maintaining records of potential issues with new business opportunities Liaising and communicating professionally and promptly with Company professionals with a summary, fact-based report of the conflict review and analysis for each new potential engagement, including clear, accurate, and substantive information and summarizing appropriate issues for clients to consider Following up on any responses to identify and/or facilitate resolution of potentially complex legal and business relationship issues Leveraging internal and external databases and other resources to conduct research, such as to obtain information on the nature of an entity or individual’s role in a particular matter, and identifying relevant corporate affiliations Ensuring confidentiality and non-disclosure of information involved in the conflicts review process (breach of confidentiality is grounds for dismissal) Developing an understanding of the Company’s expert and business consulting services, and the nature and complexity of Company professionals’ work on behalf of clients, in order to best navigate complex business relationships and new business conflict and relationship analysis Working as a collaborative team member as part of the Conflicts group, under the direction of the Manager of Conflicts (The Conflicts group reports to Legal) How You’ll Grow We are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities. What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications 3+ years' experience in a conflicts or new business intake function, within a law, auditing, financial, or consulting firm Extensive experience using IntApp, Salesforce and Elite Ability to travel to FTI office(s) as needed Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
