As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a premier retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to guests and staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to situations, communicate clearly with team members, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrols. Job Schedule:

Day Time

10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

11:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or site needs.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations to help to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions.
• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
