A government agency based in Massachusetts is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer to join its application development team. This is a great opportunity to support a high-impact modernization project focused on case management and immigration services.
The selected candidate will support and enhance a new Salesforce-based CRM system. The role requires collaboration with project managers, product owners, and external vendors to interpret business needs and deliver effective Salesforce solutions. The role is currently remote, with potential future in-person requirements at the primary work location.
Key Responsibilities:Analyze and evaluate business processes and requirements.
Configure and customize Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
Manage and resolve low to medium complexity support tickets.
Use Jira for ticket creation, updates, and reporting.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Office tools for documentation and analysis.
Understand and apply Salesforce data models, architecture, and reporting tools.
Assist with system testing, coordination, and communication across teams.
Demonstrate willingness to learn advanced Salesforce development skills.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
Familiarity with Salesforce workflows, processes, and support ticket handling.
Experience using Jira and generating standard reports.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
Knowledge of data modeling and architecture principles.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
Salesforce System Administrator Certification is required.
The position is remote, but candidates must be able to report to the Boston office with 48-hour notice if telework policies change.
