What’s a typical day as an Event Planner? You’ll be:
  • Acting as the primary liaison with conference organizers for all aspects of event planning for assigned events, ensuring effective communication and execution
  • Leading, managing, and implementing key industry and proprietary events, both live and digital, while overseeing logistics, budgeting, and project management
  • Researching venues and making recommendations for live events, while managing all aspects of planning and communication with internal colleagues
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have experience planning and executing large-scale events such as conferences and tradeshows in the pharmaceutical industry (required)
  • Have 5+ years of experience in trade show/conference event management and marketing, including managing multi-million-dollar budgets across regions
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (required)
  • Have an Events & Meeting Management certificate such as CMP, CMM, or CTSM (preferred)
  • Possess strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively in a complex, global environment
  • Are able to travel up to 25%, domestic and international
  • Are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (required), electronic lead capture systems (required), digital event platforms (required); exposure to PowerBI and/or Salesforce is strongly preferred
