Base pay range $24.00/hr - $24.00/hr Job Position: Laboratory Technician (Chemical Handling) Duration: 5 months Job Description Documentation Best Practices: Ensure compliance with Documentation Best Practices, maintaining accurate and thorough records. Ability to record data manually on data collection forms and input data using a computer. Keeps organized, accurate and detailed records of test performed Laboratory Best Practices: Adhere to Good Laboratory Best Practices and safety procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Chemical Handling: Ability to handle chemicals and cleaners while following all safety protocols and wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety e.g. lab coat, gloves, protective eyewear. Training will be provided on safe handling procedures and the use of PPE. Protocol/Training Understanding: Understand and follow established protocols/trainings accurately. Ability to recognize deviations from test methods/expected results.
