Do you take pride in providing a clean and sanitary experience for hotel guests? You might be a great fit to join our team! We're hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant who is comfortable talking with guests and will make them feel at ease. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. If this sounds like you, apply today! Pay starts at $15/hour but if you show up to all your scheduled shifts for the week on time, and don't leave early, you will be paid an additional $1/hour.

Responsibilities

•Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low
•Put all laundry in a washing machine and follow the manufacturer's directions for adding the cleaning chemicals
•Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
•Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions
•Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements

Qualifications

•This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly
•Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products
•Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
•Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
•1+ years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position
