Transdev in San Clemente, CA is seeking an experienced Technician III to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Technician III, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our assets.

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $33.00 - Maximum $36.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform class 1 through class 8 vehicle & equipment maintenance in compliance with company standards.

• Inspect, diagnose, service and/or repair all assigned vehicles and mechanical equipment.

• Ensure accurate upgrades and/or modifications on upfitted aftermarket systems, road calls, and on-the-road repairs as needed.

• Read and interpret safety documents, blue-prints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.

• Support coworkers, team members and clients.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 21 years or older

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent

• Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record, CDL preferred.

• 5+ years' Maintenance experience with all types of light and heavy-duty equipment.

• Related Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification, Master Technician Automotive and Heavy Truck lines.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.

• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

• Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
