We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the international shipment of goods. This role is critical to ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant export operations in alignment with customer requirements, international regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of international export shipments (air, sea, and ground).
  • Prepare and review key shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to arrange and track shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, and export regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR), as well as country-specific customs requirements.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions, including documentation and communication logs.
  • Communicate proactively with internal departments (Sales, Accounting, Warehouse) to ensure timely fulfillment and shipping.
  • Manage and optimize logistics costs, including negotiating rates and services with vendors and carriers.
  • Resolve issues related to delayed shipments, customs holds, damages, and discrepancies.
  • Support audits and reporting related to export activities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in export logistics, international shipping, or freight forwarding.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, and export compliance.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard business hours with flexibility as needed based on shipment required on shipping schedules.
  • Primarily office based, with occasional visits to warehouse(s) or freight sites.
