Job Description

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for an ESL Teacher skilled in supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting located in Evanston, IL. This role focuses on enhancing English language acquisition for a diverse student population, fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports language development and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification or equivalent experience in ESL teaching
• Proven ability to adapt instructional methods to multiple grade levels (K-12)
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Experience developing engaging lesson plans tailored to varying language proficiencies
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted English language instruction to K-12 students across all proficiency levels
