Job Title: Double Checker

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals for the role of Double Checker. This entry-level position requires candidates to have some warehouse experience and the ability to be trained to operate an electric pallet jack. As a Double Checker, you will ensure that the order sheets match the products being unloaded, before another employee picks the order with the pallet jack. You will also need to read a pick sheet to locate products on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• Verify that the order sheets match the products being unloaded.
• Read pick sheets to locate products on the warehouse floor.
• Assist in loading and unloading products as necessary.
• Operate an electric pallet jack after training.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure inventory accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to be trained to operate an electric pallet jack.
• Skills in inspection, order picking, inventory management, and quality control.

Work Environment

Our warehouse is a very clean environment, although it is not climate controlled. During the summer, bay doors will remain open. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Dress comfortably for a dynamic and active work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
