The Role

We’re looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative to be a welcoming, supportive point of contact for our patients, families, and community partners. In this role, you’ll handle inquiries via phone, email, and online chat, providing accurate information, resolving concerns, and ensuring every interaction reflects Mercy’s mission of compassionate care.

This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide accurate information on services, appointments, billing, and general inquiries.
  • Handle concerns with empathy and focus on first-contact resolution.
  • Document interactions accurately in our systems.
  • Collaborate with teammates to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Represent Mercy’s values in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for others.
  • Comfort working with technology and multiple systems.
  • Prior customer service or call center experience (healthcare experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A quiet, distraction-free home workspace with reliable internet.
