Job Description

Our law firm client is seeking an experienced mid-level associate (a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience) to join its Business Group. The associate will work with the Firms small and large business clients in various industry sectors and collaborate with talented attorneys across the Firms six offices.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience with contracts in the consumer goods and/or consumer products industry, including Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Sales Broker Agreements, Raw Material Supply Agreements, Packaging Supply Agreements, Equipment Leases, Equipment Purchase Agreements, and Product Purchase and Sale/Supply Agreements.

You will work with attorneys and staff motivated by excellent client service. Resources and mentors will be available to support your professional growth, and you will be part of a team that values everyones contributions. The firm also encourages involvement in pro bono and public service matters, with a track record of litigating significant cases to protect vulnerable populations.

Candidates located in New York, NY, or Washington, D.C., will be considered.

Job Requirements

  1. Experience: 3 or more years in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts, with a strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and cross-industry collaboration.
  2. Education: JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice law.
  3. Skills: Strong academic credentials, excellent analytical and writing skills, client-service orientation, and effective communication.
  4. Teamwork: Enthusiasm for working within a diverse team.
  5. Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Professionalism: Responsive and professional service delivery.

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this position is $165,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
