Position Title : Facility Administrator

About the Role :

Optum Heart and Vascular Center is hiring a Facility Administrator to lead daily operations, drive clinical excellence, and support growth initiatives. This role is ideal for a licensed healthcare professional (RN, RT(R), or RCIS) with leadership experience in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), outpatient surgery, or multi-site healthcare environments.

The Facility Administrator oversees clinical quality, patient safety, financial performance (P&L), and team development, working closely with physicians and regional partners to advance strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Quality & Patient Safety

  • Champion SCAH's High Reliability Organization (HRO) journey to promote zero harm and clinical excellence.
  • Lead the implementation and standardization of clinical quality practices and patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and leadership bodies (e.g., Medical Executive Committee, Governing Body) to define and meet evolving healthcare needs.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing clinical and operational team.
  • Create a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Empower teammates with the training, tools, and authority needed to succeed.
  • Build strong communication and interpersonal frameworks that drive trust and engagement.

Growth & Financial Management

  • Drive top-line growth through strategic service line development, new physician recruitment, and increased volume from existing providers.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with physicians, medical groups, health systems, employers, and payers.
  • Design and execute marketing and referral initiatives aligned with growth goals.
  • Partner with regional and corporate leaders to implement innovative growth strategies.
  • Manage full P&L accountability for the facility, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and cost-control initiatives.

Operations & Compliance

  • Implement annual business strategies aligned with partnership goals and market dynamics.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including accreditation standards.
  • Oversee facility operations, life safety codes, and environment of care standards.
  • Collaborate with corporate departments to drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Active clinical license (RN, RT(R), or RCIS) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in an ASC, outpatient surgical center, or multi-site healthcare setting.
  • Proven success in physician relations, business development, and operational leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, compliance, and financial management.

Salary Range: USD $135,000.00 / Yr. - USD $160,000.00 / Yr.
