Cardiac Sonographer I- Cardiology at UCHealth summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer I performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions. This role requires proficiency in sonography techniques, patient care, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced clinical environment. The position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities for professional development through precepting and continuous learning.
Description Location: UCHealth OP Pavilion YVMC, US:CO:Steamboat Springs
Department: YVMC Cardiology
FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days, will require to drive to Craig, CO 1 day per week
Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Minimum Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR Associate's degree in allied health OR a Bachelor's degree in any area.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
- 1 year experience preferred.
