Job Description

Assist the Bridge staff working on program bridge projects and bridges that are being added into the program. May assist with project contracts and other bridge documentation/files. Assist in various field activities including working with bridge maintenance crews on projects such as painting, structural repairs, and crack sealing; and working with the Construction team on bridge replacement, and reconstruction projects. Will also assist with bridge inspection. Typical Hours (Monday – Thursday) 6:30AM – 5:00PM

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Knowledge and application of advanced mathematics including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Knowledge of computer software used in testing and design work and ability to use windows based operating systems.
• Ability to understand technical documents and follow instructions.
• Candidates must be currently enrolled or enrolling within three months as a full-time student (six semester/9 quarter credits) in a post-secondary or graduate program with a GPA of at least 2.0.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License.
