Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of custom sheet metal enclosures, is seeking assemblers to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting various assembly projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Mentor, OH

Pay Range: $16/hour
1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm
2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm

What's the Job?

• Assemble enclosures, subassemblies, and various products using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards through visual inspection and process verification.
• Read and understand Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routers to ensure accurate assembly.
• Handle and install components while moving materials and products effectively.
• Verify product assembly against drawings and work instructions where applicable.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or greater.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of assembly instructions and BOMs.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in assembly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
