Accountant

Our client in the technology industry is seeking an Accountant skilled in NetSuite. This opportunity is temporary to hire and looking to start a candidate immediately upon selection. If you have NetSuite experience, a bachelors in Accounting and/or 3-5 years of accounting experience, please apply today.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Process AP: Volume 40-50 bills a week; volume can increase a bit when its month end
• Process vendor bills accordingly
• Process expense reports
• Process AR
• Post credit care receipt transactions
• Assist team in sending invoices
• Ensure what's coming through the bank is applied in NetSuite accordingly
• Process Payroll
• Assist w/ Sales Tax Compliance
• Monitor account inboxes
• Communicate with Vendors clearly, professionally, and politely

Software:

• NetSuite (experience required, no time to train on this software)
• Excel: Pivot Tables, Vlookups

Qualifications:

• Excellent and articulate written and verbal communication skills
• Degree in Accounting Preferred but Experience accepted
• Organized
• Attentive
• Follows instructions, processes, and procedures well
• Accurately tracks and logs time worked on timesheet
• Adapts to and coordinates well with others
• Great problem solver and self-starter

Work Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3 days at Home **IMPORTANT: This opportunity will start out fully remote and you must be willing to utilize your own personal laptop until one is set up and provided for you. After the fully remote period and laptop is issued, you will work 2 days in office, 3 days at home. All timing determined by controller. Office location is in 37211 zip code.
Position: Accountant
Start Date: TBD (1 virtual interview w/ Controller, Must have clear BG Check, Must sign NDA)
Schedule : 8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:30 (possibility of a little OT, must be committed to working a full 40-hour week)
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Type: Temporary to Hire (Client to convert candidate at their discretion based on overall performance and attendance) Attire: Business Casual
